About

I founded GLETek with a passion for technology and a desire to share it with others. Ever since I was young, I was always interested in how things worked. My journey began with the usual Legos and Meccano, but quickly evolved into modifying RC Cars, Nerf Guns and a whole assortment of other projects. At the same time I was immersed into the computing world with the PS1, Game-boy Advanced, and Windows 95. But, the real joy came when I found out I could combine the two.

 

I remember modifying my Macbook Pro to remove the optical drive, and replace the HDD with an SSD. From there I ran a VM to play Skyrim (yes it was a slideshow), since there was no Steam compatibility on OS X. After many more projects, I went on to build my first custom desktop, explore custom water cooling and eventually build my first server.

 

Professionally, I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree at Queen Mary, University of London, and Master’s Degree at King's College, London. I hold several industry certifications, including Network+ and Security+ through Comptia. I have experience in running a variety of businesses including Real estate/Hospitality, Fin-tech, Teaching, E-commerce and now professional IT support. From all of this, I have a rather wide background, so I am sure that whatever your field is, I can use my previous knowledge to find some common ground.

 

I strive to deliver the best in any field, and I bring this attitude to GLEtek as well. We look forward to sharing this with you and helping solve whatever issue you may have.
